Two practices that I have chosen to be most beneficial is meditation and visualization. They both can work together to achieve the same goal if you think about them. Meditation you sit alone if possible and you begin to think or concentrate to accomplish a certain point of relaxation. Visualization is similar to that but you focus on one particular area or picture and begin to concentrate. So you can see how the two can relate to each other. I can implement these practices in my personal life to foster “mental fitness” if using the same two process as a training tool. Find an item focus and relax, it really does work!

ReplyDeleteAre there any specific meditation exercises out of the ones we have looked into that you liked the most? How about visualization exercises? I believe these both can be so calming. The ability to take yourself away from are present sense of being and completely change our physical state without physically changing the situation is such a gift. Our capacity as humans to change and evolve is so much larger than most even allow in their lives..
